Description

Ida Wolfsohn was born in 1882 in Texas. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Cook and her father was the owner of Alliance Mill. She was a member of the first graduating class of North Texas State Teachers College. She was also a pianist for many years at the First Baptist Church, where she taught the T. E. L. Class for 25 years. She was a also a charter member of the Denton Woman's Shakespeare Club. Her husband was Herman Wolfsohn, who was a cashier at the Exchange National Bank. She died in 1949.
